Application: Corponaut (com.mendrugoworks.corponaut) for Android.
Last updated: 26 July 2026.

The short version:

1. Who is responsible

Corponaut is developed and published by Mendrugo Works, an independent studio. For anything to do with this policy or with your data, the studio's address: mendrugoworks@gmail.com.

2. Data the app collects

None that identifies you. Corponaut does not ask for a name, an email address or a phone number, and it creates no account. It does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.

The only things the app stores are these, and they stay on your phone:

What Where Gone when…
Your saved games: colony, resources, contracts, corponauts. The app's private storage, on your device. …you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Your preferences: language, mute, stars, chosen cosmetic and what you have purchased. The same private storage. …you uninstall the app or clear its data.
An internal progress counter (which asteroid you reached, how long it took, whether you won or lost). In the game's memory only, while it is running. You can read it yourself under Settings. …you close the app. It never leaves the device.

That last row deserves a note, because "analytics" usually means something else: there is no third-party SDK measuring anything here, no identifier and no transmission. It is a handful of in-memory counters that exist to answer "how far do people get?", and they are lost when the game closes.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Corponaut is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. The ads are served by Google, not by us, and to do that Google may collect and process data from your device, including:

We receive none of that: all we see, aggregated in the AdMob dashboard, is how many ads were shown in total.

Consent. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will see Google's consent form (the User Messaging Platform) before a single ad is requested. Until you answer, the app requests no ads at all. If you say no, you will still see ads, but non-personalised ones: chosen without using your history.

You can change your mind at any time, from inside the game: Settings → Privacy. The button shows where you stand ("Privacy: personalised" or "Privacy: generic") and tapping it reopens the form.

On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID entirely under System settings → Privacy → Ads.

How Google handles that data is explained in their own documents: how Google uses information from sites or apps that use their services and the Google Privacy Policy.

4. In-app purchases (Google Play)

Corponaut offers optional purchases (removing ads, credit packs, cosmetics and a pass with conveniences). They are processed by Google Play Billing.

Google handles the payment from start to finish. The app never sees or receives your card, your billing address or your Google account: all it receives is confirmation that a purchase exists and which product it was. That confirmation is stored on your device so that what you bought keeps working.

Refunds and purchase history are managed from your Google Play account, not from here.

5. None of this is required to play

Declining personalised ads locks nothing. Neither does buying nothing: no purchase speeds up meeting a quota or confers a competitive advantage. That is a design decision, and it is enforced in the code itself.

6. Children

Corponaut is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children of that age. If you believe a child in your care has provided data through the app, write to us and we will sort it out.

7. Your rights

If the GDPR applies to you (European Union, EEA and United Kingdom) you have the right to access your data, correct it, erase it, object to its processing and withdraw your consent. In practice, and given that we hold nothing of yours:

8. Changes to this policy

If what the app does changes, this page changes with it, and so does the date at the top. If the change is a significant one, it will also be noted in the release notes on Google Play.
